China justice orders Samsung to compensate $11.6 million to Huawei over obvious case

Three units of Samsung Electronics, including Samsung China Investment Limited, have been systematic by a Quanzhou Intermediary Court to compensate a sum for infringing a obvious hold by Huawei Device Co. Limited, a handset section of China’s Huawei, a Quanzhou Evening News, a government-run newspaper, pronounced on a website on Thursday.

When contacted, Samsung pronounced it will respond after reviewing a court’s ruling. Huawei could not immediately be reached for comment.
